There are several things that I am really stressing over right now. The fact that I am about to be twenty one and have very little life direction doesn’t help. But I could use some advice on these points, so hit me with whatever you have.

Everything you learn comes back again to act in your life.
For me it recently has been the idea of putting people first.
I find when I put people first, before my responsibilities, before my work, before desires or wants, everyone benefits.
Time should become more of a guideline that can be stretched and broken.
People should be what days are built around.

Who should you be putting first?

Today I realized there is a huge difference between talking about going to church and what goes on at church and talking about the life of Jesus. When you talk about Jesus it almost makes you sound like part of a cult. ‘Yes, I follow a guy who cast out demons and healed people, so they put him to death. But don’t worry! I believe that he rose from the dead and came back to keep doing his good works!’

I had an interesting day of reflection and learning. I haven’t spent this much time thinking about God in a great while and it definitely impacted how I view myself and the environment in which I live. College is a tough place to be a Christian and I can see I am partly to blame.
