For several days I have been reminded to put people first.
It’s that ‘drop everything’ and ‘put people first’ reminder.
I thank God that this isn’t coming at a time of need, but just as a subtle nudge.
This is what I should be doing all the time.
Even if it is hard and even if it is interrupting my work.

In the grand scheme of things, people matter.
They are the ones that are going to remember you cared.
Not the website you were surfing.
Not the sandwich you were making.
